What do we want?
Braaaaiiiiiinnnns
When do we want ’em?
Braaaaiiiiinnnnnsss
Sadly, it turns out that the whole “if you want something done, do it yourself” applies to undead hordes just the same as the rest of us.
The organiser-lady of hundreds of zombies cancelled at the last moment. And then CJ was booked (through no fault of his own).
So, later on (January perhaps), I’ll be organising my own zombie walk. I’ll let you know when.
Do we at least get a pic of what you would have looked like? 😉
Jolyon: No. I had a person tentatively lined up for makeup. That didn’t go especially well either.
Bummer! But hey, these things always happen. In other news, I did manage to get a plane, at 6:30am this morning. Sadly, the weather has been uncooperative though so sight seeing hasn’t been that appealing. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I doubt it though!
Ann: The weather in Canberra is utterly grey, too. Boooooorrrrriiiiiinnnng
If only it were just grey, instead we have had drizzle, followed by rain, thunderstorms, more rain, and more thunderstorms. It wouldn’t surprise me if I get stuck here overnight!!!!
It’s also raining, Ann. But no thunderstorms or possibility of getting stranded.
I’m onboard with your zombie walk straight away! 😀 If you want, perhaps I can help, too.
Also, last minute cancellations are most terrible :/
Georgia: Thank you! One of the reasons the zombie walk was cancelled was because it was too close to Christmas. What are you doing on, say, 8 Jan?
Another girl is doing the organising, for 5 Feb. The page is at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=169614359728376. I’m in.
Good news for me – I now have more of a chance of being able to make it. Then again, I still have no idea of where I’ll be and what I’ll be doing at all next year. *scary*
Anonymous W: Who thought zombie time would be scary? I agree with the life fear though. You know who’s going through the same thing right now? Rory Gilmore. *can’t wait until I can finish this thing and return to the real world*
Dangit! Forgot to sign in agian.
Scary isn’t the zombies. It’s about the invisible future.
W: I know. But somehow comforting to know we’ll always have the undead, yes?
