Whoever invented the phrase “sleeping like a baby” obviously only ever saw pictures like this one, rather than the scenes of screaming mayhem that led up to the decision to carefully place a baby on the floor rather than removing the cushion from under his head.
Lately he’s been getting frustrated on his stomach, as crawling fails to happen after weeks of conscious work. He definitely knows what he’s aiming for. At the same time, he’s starting to straighten his arms (not supporting his whole torso, but putting his arms out to the side to lift his chest a bit higher). His process looks exactly like Louisette’s so far, so I imagine we’ve got a month or two of work before he can crawl. Time to re-evaluate household safety. . .
