TJ wants SO BADLY to climb over the back of the couch. Perhaps biting it will help. In other news, TJ has (technically, sort of, with the help of parental manipulation and arrangement of circumstances) taken his first independent step. It’s the beginning of the end of babyhood.
TJ had his first bike ride today (up and down our street, with Mummy watching to see how he’d take it) – much earlier than Louisette did, because he had her to keep him company. Also, he clearly knows how to use a mobile phone! He’s even saying, “Hello”.
I built towers for TJ today, and instead of just knocking them down he’d very carefully remove only the top block. Then the next, then the next. Also, this:
TJ’s favourite sound these days is “Ooh”.
TJ’s on the move.
TJ’s reaction to watching Louisette and Chris fly a kite was to say “Ooh” and try to grab it.
Time to start brushing. TJ loves it.
TJ’s lifelong love for the camera has turned into a desire to possess it. This is making the oops-I-forgot-today’s-photo-let’s-take-a-quick-selfie photos much less successful.
TJ is sufficiently well-balanced now that Louisette can hold onto his hands to help him walk, and that’s enough.
As TJ grows bolder by the day, old playgrounds become brand new again. This is the Arboretum playground, in the younger-kids’ section. Also, I finally let TJ eat start eating finger food. His second pair of teeth are FINALLY coming through, so the world of food is about to open up.
TJ’s aunt and uncle, visiting from China.
