“Have I forgotten something?” “Heh. I forgot something.” “But you’ll forgive me. . . right?”

TJ’s started doing this adorable snuggle move which melts all in the vicinity.

At Questacon, TJ was having a great time – then suddenly he started clapping. He’s barely stopped since, and will often clap when verbally instructed (ie he clearly understands the word without the gesture). Fun!  

I swear TJ had this in his hand for 24 hours straight.

TJ isn’t allowed chocolate until his first birthday. Louisette is allowed lollies on special occasions only. But the desire to pick up and eat shiny things is innate.

TJ still loves to eat everything – including his own face. He discovered the heady joy of having a bigger person (in this case his sister) play fetch, as he sat in his high chair hurling his dummy to the floor and watching Louisette fetch it – over and over and over. With four limbs on the ground, it seems like cats and babies should get on famously. TJ certainly loves to play chaseys.

We’re trying to teach TJ how to get down off the couch on his own (fortunately, it’ll be a while before he can climb up).

This is a onesie that used to belong to Louisette. She’s a summer baby and TJ’s a winter baby, so we were pleasantly surprised today to find that it (more or less) fit.

TJ still loves to eat.

TJ is always delighted to find Louisette in the morning.

Today I took Louisette to ten different playgrounds. Yes, ten. It was a thing. I imagine I’ll blog on it soon. But TJ joined us for just the very last one – John Knight Park – and was awfully cute.

Today Louisette had the idea of letting TJ crawl onto a long piece of linen, and then pulling him around. He loved it.

One pair of cousins visited today, with the usual chaotic results. TJ was pretty overwhelmed at times, but ultimately he was game.
