Louisette is here!!!!

louisette was born at 7.58pm on sunday january 15th! she is a healthy bub with lots of dark long hair and she’s a generous size. Louise did brilliantly with a totally natural labour with no drugs of any kind, and thankfully no complications. what a champion. CJ is a very proud daddy who did an incredible supporting job the whole way through. at exactly 8 minutes after giving birth Louise said “its not too soon to ask, yes I do want another child” . Crazy woman. beautiful baby. 🙂

  1. That’s fantastic news! Congratulations to you both. And she is an absolute cutie. We can’t wait to meet her after you’ve had your bonding time and everything settles down. In the meantime, enjoy being parents to the your gorgeous bub. Hugs!

      1. The Anonymous Tamara: Thank you. I look forward to seeing you guys again. I presume we’re still on for Louisette to marry your little one.

    1. JT: I really wanted to say right away that labour doesn’t ultimately matter – literally seconds afterwards.

    1. Stuart: Never fear! There’s a world of difference between planning a new baby and having one. It will be a good long while before I’m willing to be pregnant again. . . but it’ll happen.

  2. Yaaay!! You are amazing! We are so thankful to God and to you for keeping us so well informed. Lots of love to you all.

    1. Thank you Jane! I have enjoyed knowing for many years how much you care about everything that’s happening in my life. Love to you and yours as well.

  3. Woohoo! Let the new life together begin! (You made me leak at the eyeballs before 7am, drat it). Well done, brave people, for making it through without the drugs 😀

    1. Pink Thistle: Aww! I hear your leaky eyeballs and raise you a misty-eyed. And I’m still delighted and a little stunned that I was one of the lucky ones who has an uncomplicated natural birth.
